Dear Mr. Louboutin

It’s hard to go with a trend. As soon as it’s out, everyone picks it up. It’s important to stay true to yourself. Have fun with fashion instead of letting it dictate.
Estella Warren

Below this post I have a question. Until then, I'd like to ask Mr. Louboutin to make his smallest Men's footwear size a 4 or 4.5.. I thank him in advance. ^_^

I have been a fan of Louboutin before J Lo began making songs about him. Just as I've become fans of several other designers prior to their fame within the Hip Hop community. Nxgguhz act like Cam'Ron never mentioned it in "Get Ya Gun". Like Hov ain't mention Maison Martin Margiela (which I believe is the future of fashion). Like rappers haven't spoken about Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, etc prior to their fame among the hip hop generation. Who decides what's poppin & what the new thing to wear will be?? Is it a group of people or... like what? Who decided the boys on the block that once without apology rocked long white tees, huge pants, and white uptowns would begin wearing aero, AE, H&M, Rugby?? I say this because I was a Rocawear, Pepe, Bo Jackson & Jordan girl at some point also. When does shxt start to change??

For me, it was because I felt I was getting older and felt my style deserved to mature as well. I began to see more, began to people watch, and noticed tons of things can be put together in tons of ways. I also realized that some designers grant more leeway for playing with style as opposed to falling under a specific fashion label or genre (i.e. punk, coutoure, hipster, etc.). I suck at following trends so I go after whatever I like. I offered my cousin a pair of Hollister jeans & he was like "wtf is a Hollister?", now that his peers deem it acceptable he came looking for those jeans the other day. Who the fuck dictates what's okay all of a sudden like the shit just dropped and wasn't out for madd years?? GTFOH follow yur heart, research, and instincts. Everything doesn't look right on everyone. That trendy shxt doesn't always rock, especially if it's all about a name to you as opposed to look, fit, durability, and how well you can piece the item with other shxt..

Me

"You're the hardest instrument that I've ever had to play"
The Noisettes

SoOo.. How awkward and narcissistic is this, huh? That picture is MeEe! UhHh, my name is Ariel. I go by Ariel Natasha. Natasha is my middle name. My twin Asia-Love calls me Brooklyn (Brooke-Lynn). I was born Oct. 9, 1991 and am all of 5'2". Beginning in Sept. 2010 I will be a Sophomore at New York University. I am a vegetarian. I collect toys and memories. I have dedicated myself to art in all of it's many forms and facets. I have been called a Hippie. I travel wherever my heart directs. I'm occassionally a jerk with good intentions, sometimes I'm super goofy unintentionally. Music has always played a major role in my life in having mended relationships and building new ones. I live for socializing and balance. I am addicted to tattoos, piercings, thrift/vintage/indie fashion stores, boxing, football, fitness/exercising, a sexy sneaker, a orgasm-triggering shoe, great food and even better company. I act, model, sing, emcee, dabble in art and fashion, drum, blah blah blah... I consider myself a Self-Expressionist.. What's left to say??

Parallel Univer$e

The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper.
William Butler Yeats

“I tend to overlook the little things. No matter how small, they are all equally significant and beautiful…. Amidst all the chaos that is our world I think we all tend to overlook the little positive things that may hold more weight than the negative, maybe not physically, but in how it uplifts our spirit and emotionally effects us….” So here I pay homage to some little things.

Generation Y

"I'd rather die on my feet than live on my knees"
Emiliano Zapata

Dear Generation Y,
We are losing, at a rapid pace, some of the greatest minds that have preceded us. If we don't step our shxt up we'll be living amognst some incompetent mother fxckers. With parents that are okay with 9 to 5s, who's saying "Today I make a difference"? Where are our world changers, conspiracy theorists, musicians that challenge the norm & commercial? Who's standing up to gov't officials & standing up for people? Who's telling youth the truth & keeping old traditions alive? See, I'm doing my part, but there's power in numbers... & our numbers are decreasing quicker than we think.

Essence Dark As Hash

Fashion is only the attempt to realize art in living forms and social intercourse.
Francis Bacon

Outerwear is muy importante as well!!
So I saw a girl wearing polo boots, true religions, and a baby phat bubble coat <-- made me cringe in my seat a bit. I don't know if the mix of brands didn't compliment one another or if like maybe the bubble coat wasn't doing it for me. Maybe the bubble coat woould have been okay had it been a Moncler or Mermot or had the logo not been showing..

Your coat/hoodie/cardigan compliments yooouuu (well the outfit)! Fit, color, cut and length play important roles!! In the winter Idc what kind of shirt I wear underneath whenever I don't plan to take my coat off but once the outerwear is on, it becomes part of the outfit.. See >_>

She Want That Old Thing Back...

"I dress for the image. Not for myself, not for the public, not for fashion, not for men."
Marlene Dietrich

I think fashion & style are maturing.. & I love it!!

I think that ever since Louis V did the collab thingy with Stephen Sprouse it granted leeway for high fashion brands to be grown and urban at the same time. I think it as well allowed urban brands to get on they grown shxt. Get it? Like, it's okay to wear Louis V with some vintage Jordans or a gummy bears ring =D

... A Dollar & A Dream...

Trey Songz was in my hood... for a cd signing.. there were tears and some fainting
Clamy... Glad I saw her in line ^_^

Maybe I would've received that sexy smile if I cried or fainted.. v_v.. Damn him not being Batman or Jay-Z

& while some gentlemen were very "Mr. Bentley" for the occasion.. some females... were trendy & over the top..
How Not To Wear Doc Martens. Exhibit A.. & she had a blonde mohawk w/ pink streaks.. Trends die so hard... & some try too hard to be "different" & "original"..

Word of Advice: If it feels forced... It looks forced.. GrRr

Then I got elbowed in my chest.. Young ladies & security guards go hard.. Just for some fat bodyguard to get in the way of my pic smh

Everybody Meet Mrs. Me Too

Truth: Sometimes I wake up for school, have no idea what to wear & have little time to choose an outfit.

Lie: I look at the celebs photos in my "RandomFlyIsh" Folder & Put On EXACTLY what they have on. *My indecisive ass*

I certainly do not wear exactly what the celebs wear. I may look at the fit and color combination and grab inspiration for an outfit from it. BUT I ALWAYS make sure my personal style shows. FuQ The Celebs o_O

I would have never thought to wear these colors together v_v

The jean jacket is certainly "in" & fashionable but I was never the type, k. If you're gonna copy. make it yur own. Make it so that people see what yu have on & forget that they ever saw the next nigguh in it. Copy the fashion, make yur personal style vivid.
*the diff between fashion & style below my pic...

*These are before my hair got acquainted with the comb & brush. Don't Judge me

To have a personal style is to have a statement you want to make with your clothing. You use your body as a palette and try to make your outfit into a work of art. Thought goes into a personal style. There are three “yous,” you as you see yourself, you as others see you, and you as you want others to see you. The aim of an impeccable personal style should be to bring these three yous as close together as possible….Which brings us to fashion. There is a reason why the term “dedicated follower of fashion” exists. Because fashion is following trends that are current. It doesn’t matter if the trend is ugly, if it doesn’t go with your personality, if it’s not flattering to your body shape, if the color that is in season does not go with you at all….all that’s irrelevant when you’re trying to be fashionable. Fashion is about checking your mind in at the door and slavishly keeping up with what other people are wearing.”

Get Your Mind Right Mami

I'm growing up.. I like shoes. I like pumps and Sebago or Sperry docksides.. I like khakis and dickies and the occasional diverse Vans sneaker or Chuck Taylor. I like my sneakers to be able to be both able to be worn casually and professionally. I hate when boys that I used to date say ".. I remember I used to love that you always had the latest ball kicks.. You were madd fly.." like I still have sum fly shxt in my closet but I'm getting older and my closet is more versatile now.. Get with it.. K

Giuseppe Zanotti pearl croc patent lace up booties

Christian Louboutin Glitter Pump Slingbacks

I feel like I need a pair of these.. but prettier.. for all those boys that liked me in ball kicks all of the time.. smh

I feel like.. Lately I've been going through tons of fashion blogs & people are wearing things that are like 8 million dollars.. K, I'm exaggerating but like.. I personally cannot afford $250 shoes or shorts.. Although I can put it together nicely.. Fashion blogs are like runway shows for people like me. Just for show.. Not mine though ^_^.. well, maybe this post is...

Had To Take Off The Blazer, Loosen Up The Tie

If Diggy ain't a well dressed young man. Much congrats on his eighth grade graudation. Check his blog shxt digslifeofthejetsetter.blogspot.com .. See, I support

I really wanna address the suit & the bowtie. We had to wear uniform and seniors had the option of wearing business suits and people, both male and female, seemed to be scared about that. They all thought that they couldn't be flii in a suit BUT I say it shows a more grown up, cleaned up look.. & it doesn't have to look like yur heading to church.. i mean check out Diggy in his Dee and Ricky shit, nice J.O's, real clean.. Nice fit, the blazer, the materials, the colors.. Suits can def be flii

Ladies!!I understand a lot of ya'll wanna like be on some new new shxt.. ok whatever.. I simply feel as if the suit can be manipulated & females look sexy in 'em. I mean GQ is my bible somewhat. Ya'll can get on ya'll color shxt, play with the fit & a nice shoe. Bowties don't have to be button up & slacks. Own it if you're gonna wear it. Insecurity shows. Dress it up in front of yur mirror & be confident in yur creation.

I adore how Yeezy played with color in this one. I see that the shoes kinda go with the glasses but they're distracting me. Take that away & do a diff color shoe or do a longer pant with a slimmer shoe maybe.. HmMm.. then maybe I could fuq w/ the whole outfit.. But in the state it's in now, in all of it's flyness, something is making me uneasy

Marc!!! I wanted my prom date to dress like this!! Sexy shxt.. Marc Jacobs is a beast indeed... One thing I like about runway is when realistic clothing that people would actually wear is on it.. I don't want any Fergie 3008 SHxT on the runway cause it's not real.. maybe fore vogue but not for some real shxt
